Assistant HR Business Partner (Band 6) Manchester Royal Infirmary
Part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) is a major university teaching hospital and specialist centre, as well as a provider of adult acute services. Some 4,000 staff, 35 wards and 18 operating theatres, provide for 180,000 A&E attendances, over 300,000 outpatient attendances and over 80,000 inpatients/day cases per year.
This patient-centred ‘hospital without walls’ has been built around a group of standardised Clinical Service Units (CSUs) that strip away traditional hierarchies and boundaries into a flatter structure. To support the MRI Director of HR & OD in the provision of a high quality strategic and operational workforce support to ensure best practice people management within their areas of responsibility and across the wider workforce function.
To take responsibility for a designated portfolio of corporate work that supports the delivery of the overall HR Strategy.
To deputise for the HR Business Partner as required.
To liaise with other HR colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services.
To work in a manner consistent with the NHS Management Code of Conduct and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.
