Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and trusted AIN who can provide comprehensive home care to new mothers and babies with post natal support. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about making a positive impact and shares our commitment to providing new mothers and babies with the support they need in their growing family.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assist with infants including general care, feeding support, bathing etc
- Assist with food preparation, taking into consideration individual dietary needs.
- Monitor medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support in household activities and perform light cleaning.
- Foster companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Previous experience maturing either pre and/or post natal support (6+ months).
- Availability for morning, afternoon or evening shifts on a weekly basis.
- Proficient in food preparation, dressing assistance, and mobility support.
- Monitoring use of regular medications and nutrition.
- Ability to assist with light household tasks.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
- Reliable transport and valid driver license
