    This is a casual role – the successful applicant must be available to work a range of shifts and has the ability to be flexible.

Responsibilities:

AS AN ASSISTANT IN NURSING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
  • Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
  • Assess patients using therapeutic skills
  • Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis
  • Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
