Are you a highly motivated individual who is looking for a position within the healthcare industry? Mount Hospital is currently seeking AIN’s to join the nursing team on a casual basis. This role will assist Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) with the delivery of exceptional nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.
Key functions include:
- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Work as part of the health care team; practice by state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills
- Provide recommendations to specialist treatment programs based on their diagnosis
- Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries
About You
You will be an adaptable individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a positive approach and a patient-centric focus. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- TAFE/ Certificate - Diploma level qualification in Community and Health Services or related discipline (or working towards same)
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
