  • Implement a comprehensive network monitoring system using tools to continuously monitor network devices, services, and servers for availability and performance.
  • Set up alerts and notifications to promptly address any issues that arise, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Develop and conduct regular training sessions for employees on group IT security policies and best practices.
  • Cover topics such as password management, phishing awareness, data protection, and the importance of software updates.
  • Establish partnerships with reputable vendors to maintain, upgrade, and monitor critical network infrastructure components such as firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, switches, and VPNs.
  • Schedule regular maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and security of the network.
  • Implement a helpdesk ticketing system to efficiently handle user requests and troubleshoot issues related to computers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Provide remote assistance and on-site support as needed to ensure ongoing usability of IT assets.
  • Deploy an IT asset management system to accurately track and maintain records of incidents, software licenses, and other IT assets inventory.
  • Regularly audit the inventory to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Ensure seamless availability of essential IT infrastructure services such as Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, print servers, and mail servers.
  • Monitor service health dashboards provided by vendors and promptly address any service disruptions.
  • Develop a standardized procurement process for acquiring IT hardware and software.
  • Maintain a detailed IT inventory report to track the status and usage of IT assets.
  • Regularly review inventory levels and propose replenishment of items such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and software licenses based on usage patterns and anticipated needs.
  • Establish open lines of communication with various business departments to understand their IT requirements and challenges.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for technology adoption and improvement to support the business objectives.
  • Collaborate on projects and initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity through technology.

skills and experience required
10 years of experience in managing service desk, cyber security, incident response, and office automation, coupled with proficiency in Power Automate, Power BI, Zoho, and programming languages like Java/Python or R.
