NRT is proud to ship its products across North America. As a Assistant Junior Chemist: Polymers and Elastomers, you will take pride in knowing you helped create quality products that are enjoyed by customers internationally.
The R&D department operates on 2 shifts- days & afternoons, from Monday-Friday. Some flexibility may be required.
This position will require line training on our compounding and injection molding line before moving into our Research & Development dept. to ensure thorough understanding of the processes and procedures from start to finish.
CSA Safety Shoes are required.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Reliable transportation, excellent attendance.
  • Time-management skills and positive attitude.
  • Good physical stamina:
  • Standing for the duration of your shift.
  • Working in the heat.
  • Fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
  • Able to work as part of a team but also independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, basic math skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
  • Prior experience in rubber manufacturing.
  • Polymer and Elastomer experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the plastic, rubber or chemical industry preferred.
