Assistant Manager (Budget & Control)

In this role, you will:

  • Manage budget allocations and related activities
  • Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecast. Work closely with stakeholders to perform reviews for budget and forecast
  • Analyse financial information to ensure operations are within budget
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities timely and accurately, in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards
  • Responsible for project revenue recognition
  • Timely preparation of management reports
  • Review workflows and procedures for continuous improvements
  • Assist in digitalisation projects
  • Support ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy
  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting field
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is desirable
  • Familiarity with SAP Finance is an advantage
  • Independent and good team player
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
