Description:

We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our vibrant team at a renowned Indian restaurant located in Rangiora. If you have a flair for culinary excellence and are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional dining experiences, we want to hear from you! We are hiring for the positions of Assistant Manager and Chef, offering a competitive pay range of $23.50 to $32 per hour.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of service.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in staff training and development initiatives.

Chef Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with precision and consistency.
  • Develop and innovate menu offerings while maintaining traditional flavors.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, delegating tasks and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices to meet food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.

Additional Requirements:

  • minimum 3 years of Experience working in an Indian restaurant environment.
  • Proficiency in Indian masalas and spices.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 30 hours per week, including weekends.
