Description:
KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low-income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.
DESCRIPTION OF DIVISION/BRANCH
Communications Department is the gatekeeper of information for the organisation and will maintain communications channels with both internal and external audiences / stakeholders.
Under Corporate communications, the team will create and deliver content and handle information output in a timely and targeted manner with the desired objective to build and maintain the company’s image and manage both internal and public relations.
Under Marketing communications, the team is responsible for crafting and implementing communication campaigns, refining brand messaging, and overseeing the social media platforms. The team’s goal will be to promote the KidSTART programme, people and stories in a soft, positive and approachable way.
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
- Fresh graduate with relevant internship in Communications related portfolio.
- Able to handle projects timely and effectively with an eye for details.
- Excellent independent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good facilitation skills and ability to engage and influence different stakeholders.
- Strong command in English and proficiency in a mother tongue language is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of media and social trends to support new ideas and work.
- Design knowledge and video editing skills is an advantage (Eg. Photoshop, Illustrator and Video Premier).
