[What the role is]
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in financial management and investment activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial and investment management activities, ensuring compliance with statutory board governance, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. He / She will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day financial operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.

DESCRIPTION

[What you will be working on]

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and perform monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts closing activities.
  • Support the preparation of management and performance measurement reports and analysis, including monthly group consolidated accounts and internal reporting to Tote Board management.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and reporting in accordance with Statutory Board Governance and Financial Management and SB-FRS, and support annual audit activities.
  • Support the annual Tote Board budget exercise, including collating and consolidating budget submissions, liaising with departments, monitoring budget utilization, and processing ad-hoc budget requests.
  • Manage periodic returns required by AGD/MOF, including GST submission.
  • Participate in finance policy, process, and system reviews, including designing and developing new analytics dashboards and reports, and implementing data analytics and Robotic Process Automation.
  • Manage UAT testing for Workday system enhancement and serve as a super user for Workday Finance modules.
  • Act as a key project member for EPM system implementation, including serving as a super user, overseeing system maintenance, and ensuring effective utilization of the system.
  • Support the day-to-day investment management operations as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

[What we are looking for]

  • Trained in accountancy/bankingfinance or ACCA/CFA qualification
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in accounting or financial audit
  • Strong knowledge of statutory board governance, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and SB-FRS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Workday, visualization and analytics tools would be an advantage.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous, independent and high level of integrity
