Sephora seeks to appoint a FP&A Assistant Manager, reporting to the Head of FP&A, SEA. The FP&A Assistant Manager will be a key business partner to the management team, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is provided for strong control and sound decisions on business activities.In this role, he/she will serve as a strategic finance business partner to various regional functions within our organization. He/She will play a critical role in driving financial performance, providing insights, and supporting decision-making processes to optimise business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant, timely and accurate financial information to support management and regional finance team in key responsibility areas in controlling, including variance analysis of actual vs forecasts, tracking of capital expenditure against investment targets and ad hoc cost analysis.
- Coordinate with business teams on budget cycle, strategic plan, internal process deadlines and reporting schedules and follow up on deliverables in a matrix organisation.
- Partner with various functions such as Central IT & E-commerce, Marketing, both local and regional, supporting the Head of FP&A to critically analyse performance, drive cost efficiencies and identify areas of risk and opportunities. You will also participate in cross business decisions and ensure a strong commercial finance presence
- Assist in the creation of business cases for business investments to ensure the best return on capital deployed.
- Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support decision-making processes and drive business growth.
- Propose improvement to processes and reporting, pilot tools to optimize business whenever necessary or relevant. This includes continuous improvement and development of existing and/or new systems within the organisation.
- Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time
