Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or a Red Seal Designation as an Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, or Heavy-Duty Mechanic Technician, together with a minimum of three-years directly related experience in progressively more responsible positions within a municipal setting.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Civic Works Operations Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in the overall delivery of services related to the City’s vehicles, equipment, and civic facilities. The Assistant Manager – Fleet & Facilities is also responsible for assisting in the preparation and implementation of the annual Civic Works operating and capital budgets and will participate in long-range financial and strategic planning.
