Job Title: Assistant Manager, Housekeeping
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 8,000 AED to 10,000 AED per month

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager, Housekeeping to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As the Assistant Manager, Housekeeping, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of our facilities. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the exceptional guest experience in our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and laundry personnel.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality standards to meet the needs and expectations of guests and management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Train, motivate, and coach housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities and place orders as needed.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with budget planning and cost control measures to optimize departmental expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or hospitality establishment is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be willing to reside in company-provided accommodation.
  • Must have legal eligibility to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
