Assistant Manager/Manager (Reinsurance – Treaty/Facultative)

The company is more than 4 decades and is an established international reinsurance broker.
As a reinsurance specialist, the company works on behalf of insurance companies and non-traditional entities to facilitate the placement of Treaty and Facultative reinsurance program. We have a dedicated team of specialists in the area of Treaty and Facultative reinsurance to handle the full range of business for the region.
We are looking for a full-time candidate to join our reinsurance broking team for Treaty.
Candidate(s) with related reinsurance experience is a must.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder, with professional Reinsurance experience or Insurance qualification
• Independent, good communication skills set and with pleasant personality
• Must possess good inter-personal skills and excellent working attitude
• Analytical, meticulous, able to multi-task, and is a team player
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAble to commence and start work immediately is a plus point
•

• Assist in production, placement, negotiation & servicing of treaty accounts
• Producing quotation & reinsurance slips, cover notes and contract wordings
• Perform pre-underwriting work such as financial analysis and treaty statistics
• Monitoring the follow-up on quotation request with reinsurance underwriters
• Business development process such as desk research for prospective clients
• Servicing of reinsurance accounts and claims for the given portfolio
• Responding to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients & Group offices
