  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a trading business.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other procurement software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the trading business.
  • Support the Purchasing Planning Manager in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements and create purchase orders.
  • Monitor and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Utilize SAP system to process purchase requisitions, track inventory levels, and generate reports.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Assist in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
  • Provide support in executing strategic sourcing initiatives.
