Assistant Manager, Retail Warehouse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the new LA Clippers’ Retail Warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and a passion for live sports/concerts, as well as a focus on retail technology/innovation and experience growing a new business.
The Assistant Manager will coordinate all aspects of managing our new retail warehouse at the Intuit Dome, including the processing of incoming retail inventory, organization of all warehouse spaces, and eCommerce fulfillment. Assistant Manager will be responsible for meeting operational efficiency goals, identifying and acting upon areas of opportunity, managing a team of part-time teammates, and serving as the business lead for in-arena retail warehouse needs. The Assistant Manager will demonstrate excellent management and peer relationship skills and be able to work with many cross-functional partners.

This is a full-time role based out of Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offerings including health insurance, Wellbeing Allowance and 401(k) with company contribution. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays.

YOUR BACKGROUND, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

• 3 or more years of retail warehouse experience, experience with warehouse space planning highly preferred
• 1 or more years eCommerce fulfillment experience
• Customer service/order issue resolution experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to think strategically, problem solve, and multi-task are a must
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete work accurately and on time
• Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift or move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, sit or remain in a stationary position during shift
• Able to maneuver and move throughout Intuit Dome grounds
• Able to pick up items off the ground, lift over head and reach horizontally
• Comfortable working at various heights

• Manage all operations of the new retail warehouse.
• Manage a warehouse team to complete day-to-day warehouse tasks.
• Inbound inventory processing, verifying the accuracy of shipping invoices.
• Tag all inventory with RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification).
• Complete routine inventory cycle counts with RFID technology.
• Warehouse organization, maximizing storage space allotted.
• Distribution of inventory through the arena.
• Lead and coach warehouse team on accuracy and efficiency of fulfillment processes.
• Answer inbound e-mails regarding eCommerce orders
• Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; comply with all safety policies.
• Supervise/Assist with retail operations when needed.
• Supervise/Assist with concert/event operations when needed.
