ASSISTANT MANAGER

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our management team and help us maintain the high standards of service and hospitality that define the Salthill Hotel.
Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager, you will support the Deputy Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel. Your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth running of all departments, enhancing guest satisfaction, and managing staff performance. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the overall management and coordination of hotel operations.
- Supervise and support department managers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Manage inventory, budgets, and financial records related to hotel operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among staff.
