REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the government sector.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building government relationships.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals with government agencies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to penetrate the government sector.
  • Identify and target potential government clients to expand the company’s client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector.
  • Lead sales negotiations and contract discussions with government agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects.
  • Monitor government tenders and procurement opportunities.
  • Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and bids.
  • Stay updated on government regulations, policies, and industry trends.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior business development team members.
