Description:

At SkyCity Adelaide, we’ve recently expanded our VIP rooms, including the exciting launch of our new restaurant, 85. The name ‘85’ pays homage to the year the Adelaide Casino opened its doors in 1985. As our VIP spaces grow, we’re looking for an additional Assistant Manager to join our existing management team to support F&B operations across both the Opal and Grange rooms.
We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, upholds a high level of service, goes above and beyond for their customers, and can support and guide their team.

WHAT YOU WILL LOOK LIKE?

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience. It’s advantageous if you’ve worked across various hospitality areas such as bars, a la carte restaurant, functions and events or hotel experience. The successful candidate will be solutions driven, have a strong commitment to service excellence, and the ability to support and guide your team to success.
To be successful in this role, you must have 24/7 availability and be available to work a range of shifts including, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

We’re seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic F&B team and elevate our VIP customer experience. As an integral part of our management team, you’ll lead by example, nurturing and developing your staff while ensuring top-tier service.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with members and driving promotions. You will be responsible for checking draft rosters and maintaining published rosters. Ensuring staffing levels are kept within budgeted labour. You will maintain safety protocols such as upholding occupational health and safety standards, you’ll promptly report hazards and injuries. Additionally, you’ll ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
