Description:

SUMMARY

You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to create awareness, generate interest, and build excitement for the hotel brand.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the hospitality industry or pre-opening environments.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and web analytics.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify target market segments, and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
  • Proficiency in design and video taking with strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and establish the hotel brand identity, positioning, and messaging that aligns with the target market and overall business objectives.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote the hotel’s pre-opening phase.
  • Identify target segments and create innovative marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, attract potential guests, and maximize occupancy.
  • Manage the hotel’s digital marketing initiatives, including website development, search engine optimization (SEO), content creation, social media engagement, and online advertising. Ensure a strong online presence across various platforms and drive traffic to the hotel’s website.
  • Plan and implement offline marketing activities, such as print advertisements, outdoor signage, direct mail campaigns, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations to reach the target audience effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to generate positive media coverage. Draft press releases, organize press events, and coordinate media visits to showcase the hotel’s unique offerings and generate media exposure.
  • Ensure timely clippings of all news and coverages for all campaigns and to report results to stakeholders and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Create and oversee the production of marketing collaterals, including brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and other branded items. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Utilize data and insights to refine marketing strategies, identify new opportunities, and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across various marketing channels and activities. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide regular reports to management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and support pre-opening activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and deliver a seamless guest experience.
