Description:

Position Summary
We’re looking for an agile, results-driven, detail-oriented Assistant Media Manager, to support the direction and execution of our strategic efforts to increase brand awareness, engagements, qualified lead generation, and grow sales.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Strong media planning skills to support the execution of advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including print, television, radio, digital, and social media.
  • Support local markets on regional & local media plans, campaign activation, and campaign performance analysis
  • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics to measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to produce and manage reporting of KPIs across the regional markets and by channels and present analysis and insights of media and e-commerce activities to key stakeholders
  • Support budget management and forecasting for media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as PR, events, and content, to ensure integrated marketing communications.
  • Collaborate with HQ and regional markets on product launches, key campaigns, and communication strategies
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills are a must
  • Assist in analyze market data and industry insights to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities for the brand.
  • Understanding of consumer and market insights and trends to guide regional offices on enhancements of local communication strategies
  • Assist in managing relationships with media agencies, vendors, and other partners to ensure seamless campaign execution and to stay up to date on the latest market trends.
  • Help develop creative briefs and work closely with the creative team to ensure alignment with the overall media strategy

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a media planner or similar role
  • Broad knowledge of media channels and analytical experience for both digital and offline
  • Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
  • Solid knowledge of digital tools (AdWords, Facebook Business manager, SA360, DV360 and Campaign Manager)
  • Ability to handle multiple demands efficiently, while being extremely organized and maintaining high attention to detail
  • A self-starter and eager implementer who enjoys working both in groups and independently
  • Ability to manage multiple facets of a project simultaneously
  • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships
  • Integrated Marketing Communication planning, and working within tight timelines
  • Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively while being comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Self-directing and agile, with the ability to quickly adapt, as needed
  • Ability to work with IT resources such as databases and spreadsheets, for the collection and management of information
  • Analyst mind-set and eager to dig into the data to understand gaps in performance and provide solutions
  • Worked on e-Commerce campaigns and e-retailers
  • Technical understanding of Pixels
  • Bachelors/MS Degree with min of 5 years of experience in Marketing / Media within a Media agency or blue-chip company – ideally FMCG.
  • Strong analytical and reporting ability with the capacity to use data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of Media channels and proven working experience in digital marketing with certifications from key digital platforms
  • Demonstrable experience managing and executing Offline media, Social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate marketing objectives and initiatives
  • Bilingual preferred (Arabic and English).
