As School Nursing is a public health service we deliver the school childhood immunisation programme for children and young people aged 5-16yrs. An element of the role is to undertake the Child Measurement Programme and vision screening. Delivery of health promotion sessions in schools.
Part of the role is working with parents/carers to support and offer guidance on childhood health issues. The School Nursing Service plays an important role in promoting, protecting, and safeguarding the health and wellbeing of children and young people. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
