Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 years of experience in the areas of network infrastructure support and maintenance, vulnerabilities assessment, risk assessment, change requests, tech refresh, etc
- Possess valid certification in CCNA or equivalent
- Working knowledge of networking with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting, problem isolation and diagnosis of network problems
- Ability to lead and collaborate with vendors to manage system SLA, plan and coordinate onsite activities, produce quality report, value-add to deliverables and ensure compliance to policies and guidelines
- Proven track record in stakeholder management with the ability to manage expectations, address concerns and communicate effectively with System Managers and End Users
- Resourceful and proactive, able to work independently and as a team player and strong in written and verbal communications
- Working experience in defence or government sector is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Augment the client’s System Manager team and collaborate with Ops Manager/End Users to provide oversight on the operations and maintenance activities for data network systems including but not limited to Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Obsolescence and Vulnerabilities Management, Risk Management, Governance and Compliance Management, Quality Management and Service Improvement
- Manage vendor’s O&S team in conducting fault analysis, problem resolution, change management, preventive maintenance, obsolescence and vulnerabilities tracking, etc
- Assist users with first level investigation of network faults/issues where necessary and ensure respective vendors are triggered to address incidents in a timely manner
- Review vendor’s monthly O&S reports and provide summary reports to System Managers and Ops Managers on the system health, fault records, service reports, change request status, vulnerabilities updates, EOL status, over-and-above items, etc
- Review vendor’s deliverables for operational and preventive maintenance activities.
