East Point Academy is seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal at our thriving academic and inclusive school. We are looking for a leader who shares that belief to join our Senior Leadership Team as an Assistant Principal responsible for Raising Achievement.
The precise portfolio of responsibilities in this role will be tailored to suit your own experience and expertise, but the core of this role is ensuring that students achieve the best educational results that they can get. The successful candidate for this role will lead on academic interventions across the school, ensuring that students get the support they need. You will need to coordinate different teams of staff from different departments to ensure that the right support is targeted at the right time.
You will also have responsibility for leading all of the assessments that take place in the school, including internal tests, mock exams and all external assessments. You will use the data from these assessments to produce meaningful analyses of student performance, which will help us identify those students needing additional support and evaluate the quality of the education offered by the school.
