Responsibilities:
- Independently lead human genetics target discovery projects that require resource from multiple IIUK functions (e.g., biology, chemistry)
- Conduct independent research on ‘Synthetic Rescue’ at the direction of the human genetics’ leadership team
- Gain access to, curate multi-omics data from, and analyze diverse publicly available data from large biobank studies
- Develop human genetic analysis workflows both locally and in cloud-based environments
- Perform ad hoc analyses and function as a subject leader in support of ongoing wet lab / informatics projects
- Partner with the informatics team to ensure reproducible informatic workflows
- Work with the human genetics leadership to identify potential areas of interest for future research program
