Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or Molecular/Cellular Biology, Cancer Biology/Oncology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Immunology, Medicine, or Chemistry/Biochemistry disciplines, with an Engineering focus including Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Sensors, and/or Devices
- No additional experience beyond the PhD is required for appointment at the Assistant Rank.

Responsibilities:
- Establish a strong research program with extramural funding.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and contribute to mentoring students, including those from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
- Participate in outreach, partner with colleagues across departments and colleges, and nurture an environment of collaboration.
- Develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expanding collaborations with community and business partners.
