The Department of History at The University of Memphis invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Teaching in U.S. History to begin Fall 2024. This is a one-year position that may be renewed. Successful candidates will be expected to teach a 4-4 load that includes survey courses in U.S. and African American history as well as more specialized upper-division undergraduate and graduate courses, in both on-campus and online formats.
Minimum Position Qualifications
Ph. D. in History required by time of appointment
