Description:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager preferably in the energy or sustainability sector.
  • Knowledge of energy solutions, including renewable energy, storage efficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify project risks.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PPT.
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will plan, oversee, and lead projects (e.g. energy storage projects, marine electrification projects, gat to electric projects, etc.) through their lifecycles, ensuring they are completed within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and clients, to deliver successful projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, to ensure the successful execution of energy projects.
  • Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
  • Leadership : Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and motivation among team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality products as well as solutions.
  • Budget Control : Monitor project budgets and expenditures and make necessary adjustments to stay within budget limits.
  • Communication : Maintain regular communication with vendors/suppliers/colleagues from different JV or subsidiaries, keeping them informed about project progress and addressing concerns and requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • PA & Reporting : Prepare and present regular project status and analysis reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, milestones, and challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize project management procedures.
