We are excited to offer the opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our specialist Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care service in Nottingham.
Located in the town of Hucknall, 7 miles from Nottingham City Centre, and just 2 miles from the M1 Motorway, we provide long-term person-centred care and support for adults with physical and cognitive impairments resulting from a brain injury or other progressive neurological condition.
With three distinct, yet complementary services on one site, we offer flexible care options from our specialist on-site team.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
- Deliver clinical interventions under supervision
- Work with other staff to assess patients and review their care in preparation for MDT meetings.
- Assist in the formulation of care plans for patients requiring psychological treatment under the direct supervision of a psychologist.
- Ensure all clinical documentation is of a high standard and patient notes are maintained and filed in the appropriate way.
- Assist in the design and implementation of service evaluation and research projects for specialist services.
- Provide a high level of Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and contribute to the standards of professional care, ethics, and policies and procedures.
