Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.6 wte B5 Assistant Psychologist in the neonatal psychology service. This is a permanent role.
We are excited to recruit a motivated and appropriately qualified Assistant Psychologist to a new role in our expanding neonatal psychology service here in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Assistant Psychologist will provide clinical support to the qualified Clinical Psychologists under supervision. With the expansion of the service we plan to offer screening as part of our universal offer to all families in the neonatal service. The post holder will take an active role in the development and delivery of screening, to help identify individualised care needs for families in the neonatal service. The post holder will also take a role in the delivery of groups, staff training and the development of information resources.
With a large element of the role being dedicated to the development and delivery of screening, we also welcome applications from candidates with excellent planning and organisational skills. Applicants should have an interest in working with families in medical and nursing environments as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will have weekly supervision with an experienced Clinical Psychologist in the team.
We reserve the right to close this position earlier than the advertised date should we receive a high number of applications.
