Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role.
  • Qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel within the region.

Due to our continued expansion, The iNUA Collection is now looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Regional Financial Controller to join our team.
In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Regional Financial Controller and ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations across both Cork and Kerry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Regional Financial Controller in overseeing the financial operations of assigned hotels within the Cork and Kerry region.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for assigned hotels.
  • Analyse financial data and identify areas for cost control and improvement.
  • Assist with the year-end closing process for assigned hotels.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned hotels.
  • Direct and manage the purchasing and approval of purchase orders in Procure Wizard
  • Liaise with internal departments (operations, sales & marketing) and external auditors.
  • Travel to assigned hotels within the Cork and Kerry region as required.
