BASIC QUALIFICATIONS.

• Previous internship experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media or publishing

Preferred Qualifications.

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Public and International Affairs, International Affairs, Economics, Public administration) from an accredited college or university.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to adapt to new conditions, deadlines and assignments.
• Solid knowledge of the MS Office suite.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and the ability to provide quality work to clients and teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS (CONT’D).

• Contributes to performance appraisal process for peers and managers.
• Oversees interns on projects.
• Understands internal operations and inter-team cooperation.
• Commits to continuous learning and improvement of tactical skills by attending Edelman Learning Institute classes and seeking other training, including on-the-job training and mentoring.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Learns about Edelman’s various capabilities and contribute ideas when appropriate about how to improve them and develop new capabilities.
• Aids in the implementation of new capabilities.
• Stays up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
