ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

General requirements

• Any national, foreigner and stateless candidate(s) holding a PhD degree, for at least 10 years, in the fields of Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or related areas.
• Demonstrated research experience in Proteomics.
• Demonstrated scientific maturity through publications in peer-reviewed journals in relevant scientific areas.
• Experience teaching in MSc and PhD programs.
• Experience in grant writing in national and international calls for R&D projects is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication and presentation skills will be valued.
• Fluency in English (both oral and written).

Specific requirements

• Hands-on proficiency with LC-MS/MS for protein and peptide identification, quantification, and post-translational modification characterization.
• Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating various liquid chromatographs and Sciex mass spectrometers.
• Experience using Sciex software solutions for data acquisition (Analyst TF, Sciex OS) and data analysis (ProteinPilot, PeakView, SWATH 2.0 plugin, MarkerView, BioPharmaView, Biologics Explorer).
• Experience using commonly used proteomics data processing software such as MSFragger, DIA-NN, and Skyline.
• Ability to develop new mass spectrometry-based methodologies to overcome the analytical needs of the scientific community in biopharmaceutical development.
