Description:

The successful candidate for the position of assistant scheduler shall be fully capable of determining daily, weekly, or monthly production activities based on various factors. While supporting the scheduler, this role helps examine work orders or customer requests, expected delivery dates, plant personnel and equipment capabilities, and inventory availability.

ASSISTANT SCHEDULER EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 yrs. experience in Scheduling
  • Proven work record to include the ability to perform all the following:
  • Manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Problem-solving in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or 3rd party planning software with schedule development
  • Understanding of demand and supply planning processes from order generation through fulfillment
