Description:
The Trust wishes to appoint an ambitious and motivated individual to support the operational management of 0-19 Public Health Service within CCS.
Reporting to the Divisional Operations and Service Managers, this post will support the management team in delivering general operational management and business support to a number of services and their respective administrative teams. It will also include line management of members of various admin teams when the service. The post holder will be fully involved in planning and achieving the Divisions overall objectives and will work as a member of the divisional management team. A key function of the Assistant Service Manager role is to support the Trust to achieve the Local agreed KPIs , including attendance at Safeguarding meetings , Public Health promotion sessions and NCMP.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work closely with senior clinicians, effectively manage performance against a range of standards , KPIs and support the management team in generating clear strategic plans for their services.

The role of Assistant Service Manager is a practical one and the post holder will work as part of the management team responsible for the division. The post holder will report to one of the Service Managers within CCS.
The post holder will be responsible for a number of key areas. Firstly, they will work closely with the divisional management team in the operational management of its clinical services. Within the management of the service , they will have a role in operational management and also in the management of staff.
They will provide effective leadership to the administrative team, supporting them to ensure the service meets performance and access targets. They will support them in their management of resources to ensure adequate staffing levels across the team.
