About the role
Due to an increase in demand, we have a rare opportunity for a full time Assistant Service Manager to assist in the leadership of our Unley Service team. Working alongside the Service Manager you will ensure the daily operation of the busy workshop and service areas are maintained and are running smoothly & efficiently. This is a pivotal role and would suit somebody looking for a challenge, who is ready to bring an enthusiastic, dynamic approach to the business. If you are passionate about customer service at the highest level and see each day as a chance to exceed customer expectations, are an experienced Service professional with preferably luxury experience, then we are keen to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the leadership of a team of service advisors, workshop, and administrative staff in all facets of the day-to-day operations of our service department
  • Hands on, assistance with advising, customer check in, queries and problem solving
  • Enhance workshop productivity and efficiencies
  • Conduct daily service KPI reports from the ERA system for productivity, efficiencies, gross profit from labour sales etc.
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry including management of the service operation
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Ability to multi task
  • Able to liaise with management, staff, customers and contractors on all levels
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Sound computer skills
  • Current drivers licence
