Description:
Amarillo’s #1 voted shoe store, Randy’s Shoes, is interviewing for an Assistant Manager, willing to work side by side with the Store Manager to ensure all tasks get completed, as well as, learning the Store Manager’s duties down the road for advancement.
This role is ideal for candidates who have a passion for customer service and are proficient in taking charge of their craft and providing direction and support to the team members inline with the store manager direction. We already have an amazing staff but we are looking to combine that with an equally amazing assistant manager!
The position pays every two weeks! You can become a critical part of the great team we already have in place! All employees receive employee discount.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Must be willing to work most Saturdays.
- Must be willing to learn our inventory and website platform.

Responsibilities:
- Exercise good public and customer relations skills at all times. Foster & maintain a welcoming environment within the store by taking initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner and coaching the staff to do the same.
- Learn store opening/closing processes to ensure current and next shift is set up for success.
- Prioritize tasks for team members and provide any coaching required to accomplish the tasks properly.
- Mentor new Team Members and provide training on sales technique, POS system, cleaning, etc.
- Contribute to and support Store Manager’s plans for team member and store development.
- Learn to be in charge of the day to day operations of the store.
