Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experiences in related fields.
  • Excellent Command of English
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus.
  • Very good command of the MS Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Professional training in shipping or equivalent studies is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to set priorities and achieve targets.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
  • Teamwork abilitiesProactive approach, hands-on attitude, and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance to Trade Manager on day-to-day commercial aspects of respective lines
  • Pricing cargo for ZIM Services as well as tender quotations, maintenance of tariff
  • Assistance to Trade Manager analyzing market conditions, competition activities and customer feedback
  • Execution of Line’s policies together with Trade Manager and weekly follow-up of the performance
  • Communication with Sales Teams on any commercial issues
  • Participation in weekly meetings with the Line Manager, agencies, cargo flow and etc.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports for the Trade Manager and reporting to him on weekly issues, tasks performed, target progress, etc.
  • Monitoring the countries forecast and sharing with all relevant parties.
  • Stay updated on trade regulations and compliance requirements.
