Description:

Christian Bassett is recruiting an Assistant Training Manager, Southeast Asia for a European luxury fashion company.

Job Summary:

  • As an Assistant Training Manager, you will be responsible for defining, planning and implementing the strategic learning journey and growth mindset of our retail community across the region.
  • You will leverage your expertise to partner with internal business partners as well as utilize your experience to develop a deep understanding of the business learning needs in order to drive business performances.
  • will be required to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, with a diverse mix of talents in the store teams. for coordination, implementation, management and evaluation of all aspects of the Retail Training programs in the Regional territory (DOS and Outlets)
  • planning to support the retail stores network to achieve set business and Customer Relationship Management goals, support operations to achieve company operational standards creative and cost-effective solutions to achieve Regional Retail strategy, setup monitoring program (evaluation/testing/follow up system on a monthly basis) to closely monitor, measure results and progress with the Regional Human Resources, Operation, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Customer Relationship Management and align with Global Retail Training guidelines and be accountable for specific projects as assigned leading, when applicable, a training team

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Regional retail stores network to achieve Regional business performance through the implementation of elevated customer experience and adhering to global standards
  • Analyse overall business performance and design training action plans according to the Regional Retail strategy aligned with Global Training guidelines
  • Roll out Global Retail training modules according to the Regional Retail strategy
  • Support and implement new projects by Global Retail training
  • Collaborate with other Regional and Global departments: Human Resources, Operation, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Customer Relationship Management
  • Support product training for seasonal collections (in collaboration with local Merch team)
  • Ensure CRM activities and tools are fully implemented
  • Support and cooperate with Human Resources, Operation, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Customer Relationship Management team for new store opening/pop up or stores relocation
  • Build brand engagement through learning engagement and creating positive and safe learning environments conducive for learning
  • Coordinate and deliver training activities in the Region, travel to check stores network performance and provide feedback
  • Organise regular meeting with Retail stores managers to define and follow up training action plan and strategy
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative reports to Regional Retail Director and Global Retail Training Director
  • Engage and ensure participation of all key Regional stakeholders

Job Qualifications & Specifications

  • Training & development background is essential, with at least 5 years’ experience
  • Minimum 3 years of training experience in preferably retail industry
  • Rich experience and knowledge in luxury Retail
  • Energetic, positive, mature, analytical and passionate about training and developing people and strong ability to transfer knowledge and inspire people
  • Accountability & Ownership

Good team player and people management

  • Proactive attitude and excellent communicator
  • High agility and adaptable
  • Position requires travelling
