We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Client Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Profitable growth in the Group Health & Employee Benefits portfolio in line with top line and bottom line business targets
  • Responsible for underwriting of business cases according to underwriting guidelines to achieve overall portfolio profitability
  • Ongoing compliance with external and internal business guidelines
  • Ensure proper maintenance of record keeping to satisfy audit requirements
  • Prepare new business and renewal quotations within turnaround times
  • Provide timely and quality responses to internal and external customers
  • Managing day to day issues relating to his/her own portfolio accounts
  • Managing relationships with distributors to develop and retain business
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements

  • University Degree with 5 years of experience in the Employee Benefits market preferred
  • Having relevant insurance papers – HI, M5, M9 will be preferred
  • Sound knowledge of employee benefits products
  • Customer centric with a strong focus on quality of service
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role. HSBC Group reserves its position with regards to any steps which it may take in relation to any material adverse findings which arise either when the checks are originally completed, and/or if relevant, on an ongoing basis.
