We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Policy Servicing (High Net Worth).
Principal Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

  • Manage the administration and policy servicing activities of high net worth products
  • Administer processes according to HSBC standards and compliance / regulatory guidelines
  • Provide good customer service to the policyowners
  • Provide good support to the distribution channels and their business partners
  • Conduct customer reviews to ensure customers’ information is up to date
  • Support the business in product launches and system enhancement and any initiatives assigned

Responsibilities

  • Process customers’ requests for policy changes
  • Attend to enquiries from distributors
  • Prepare CSV/policy statements and other documents requested by customers and distributors
  • Liaise with legal and compliance on collateral assignment related documents
  • Prepare fee deduction and other payment instructions
  • Liaise with custodians / banks / external asset managers
  • Perform customer due diligence reviews and related tasks
  • Update of Standard Operating Procedure and servicing forms
  • Reporting (internal and regulatory)
  • User Acceptance Testing and any other ad hoc projects assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • Diploma holder in business or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in policy servicing team in the life insurance industry
  • Familiar with life insurance processes and local regulations and practices
  • Highly service oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Has a strong flair in administrative work. Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Life Insurance Policy Administration System, Workflow and Imaging System.
