Description:

We’re seeking candidates with the appropriate backgrounds in video editing. You should be willing and able to work over-time on some weekdays and weekends (with compensation), as our client/ project schedules require.

Your video editing work supports the branding/digital marketing projects of MNCs, national broadcast, commercial, and social organisations.

  • Must be independently proficient in Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop
  • An ability to produce 2D animation (After Effects) is a strong plus
  • Academic background in Media Studies and/or Visual Communications is desired

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Executive Producer, from the production to post-production stages.
  • Edit video footage using digital tools (i.e. Adobe Premiere pro, After Effects).
  • Review scripts to create a shot selection list based on the scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
  • Create rough and final cuts, with logical sequencing.
  • Transcribe audio interviews, logging.
  • Create basic graphic assets, from references & templates, using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Create basic motion graphics & animation in After Effects.
  • Provide on-site support in video production work, under guidance. This will be 10% - 15% of your duties as a way to help you develop holistically, and keep your work interesting and engaging.
