Assistant Warehouse and Distribution Manager

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The right candidate for this position will be IT literate and with a full driving license. This role will be customer facing, so customer satisfaction must be a high priority, as well as a friendly demeanour and confident communication skills.
Ideally you will have experience of working within the charity sector or alongside volunteers, and will either have or be willing to create a large knowledge base of pre-loved goods and upcycling

We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual to assist in supporting the retail operation, shop managers and online trading department to meet and understand stock requirements, to maximise retail income. We are looking for someone to help ensure efficient stock movement into and out of the central Warehouse.
This role will be split across the daily operational needs of the Warehouse, Donation and Distribution Centre. Offering excellent customer service and maximising every opportunity to capture gift aid and maximise profits, the right candidate will contribute to the Donation Centre opening seven days per week. As this role will be ensuring the smooth running of the distribution centre you will assist in the safe storage and distribution of donated items, maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and efficient warehouse offering a high level of organisation and logical storage solutions.
