JOB SUMMARY/BASIC FUNCTION

The Associate Director of Admissions for Operations and CRM Administrator is responsible for the technical configuration, maintenance, and oversight of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application and environment, currently Technolutions Slate. The Associate Director supervises appropriate professional operations team members as well as student workers.

Annual Salary: $56,704.00 plus comprehensive benefits starting on the first day of employment, including:

  • Health insurance – Low bi-weekly premium. Employees pay 5% of bi-weekly salary for benefit coverage with ability to pay 2.5% when participating in the wellness program.
  • Dental insurance – Coverage is free to employee and dependents after 90 days.
  • Vision insurance – Coverage is free to employee and dependents after 90 days.
  • Group life insurance - equal to annual salary (up to $50,000) at no cost to the employee.
  • Voluntary Group Life and Accident Insurance – available for purchase at low rates for additional employee coverage as well as coverage for spouse and children

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a higher education admissions/recruitment department.
  • General familiarity with higher education information systems and/or customer relationship management (CRM) software (i.e., Banner, Peoplesoft, Technolutions Slate).
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to work/travel evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse cultures, racial and ethnic groups.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing a caseload of applicants; reviewing applications for admission.
  • Experience with CRM systems in higher education, specifically Technolutions Slate
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to optimize the Admissions Offices’ instance of Technolutions Slate CRM.
  • Serve as the technical and functional lead within the Admissions office for Technolutions Slate CRM, BANNER, and Axiom Elite Data Integration Services. Work closely with information technology on system implementation and integration when necessary; manage all data migration processes from Slate to BANNER.
  • Create import and export source formatting for Slate CRM, which includes bringing in data from various additional Enrollment Management vendors.
  • Manage Millersville’s internal Slate application. Manage process for semester-based revisions to data on the application and manage the online payment portal. Manage the yearly creating of and maintenance of external applications. Serve as the liaison for external application vendors.
  • Manage and perform data integrity assurance tasks to ensure commonality regularly between all student information systems .
  • Manage data integration between Slate and Banner, including creating and managing source configuration for Axiom Data Integration and creating and scheduling document exports for applicants to transmit document imaging from Slate to the university imaging system.
  • Responsible for development of queries, forms, configurations and reports used by admission counselors and student workers/call center to manage their phone call interactions with their prospective students.
  • Deliver ongoing training related to best practices with Technolutions Slate for admissions and other key university departments.
  • Work collaboratively with Institutional Research and Information Technology to report accurate data to PASSHE when appropriate. This includes assistance, when necessary, with the AOD/SIMS data upload and definitions of data elements for reporting from an admissions perspective.
  • Act as liaison between undergraduate admissions and various departments on campus who utilize Slate for their operation. This includes Student Success Programs, University Honors College, Athletics, Orientation and Transition Programs, Housing and Residential Programs, and Student Financial Services.
  • Serve as the technical lead for Admissions’ inquiry generating vendors. Oversee the inquiry pool coding, tracking and communication flow.
  • Serve as the technical and functional lead for Admissions’ operations vendors.
  • Attend appropriate and assigned technical and functional training events and conferences.
  • Create and share query extracts in support of data and communications population/audience requests.
  • Support Communications and Marketing team with establishment and maintenance of Slate-based campaigns and communications.
