We are looking for a Strategic Initiatives and Market Development Assoc Director, who is pivotal in supporting and executing the long-term growth and development of the assigned Strategic Initiatives within Pharmaceuticals segment in WE (Western Europe), including but not limited to, Compounding.
As part of the Compounding growth this role is focused on: translating Customer need in in technical requirements; identifying the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) needed to deliver assigned initiatives and provide high quality input to the Leadership to ensure that SMEs are allocated as appropriate; delivering Consultancy and Support to the Healthcare providers in building new or upgrading existing cleanrooms, process development, Capacity Management, Innovation, Optimisations with a view to Futureproofing, and ensuring that current and future Quality & Regulatory expectations and guidelines can be understood and met; overcome barriers in product import\export for Geox.
The person in this role is accountable to oversee resources for the assigned Strategic initiatives, either when directly reporting or external consultant. This role is for an experienced and versatile Talent able to influence in a multi stakeholders Matrix Environment both internally and externally, including the Customer, Sales Team, Finance, Commercial & Operations Leaders, Pharmacy teams, Medical, Project Managers, IT (Information Technology) and Quality\Regulatory bodies when applicable.
The core responsibility is ensuring a successful delivery of the assigned Pharmaceutical Strategic Initiatives.

Variable between 25% and 50% based on the period.

Job Requirements

  • University degree: Master’s/PhD degree
  • Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is essential
  • Written and verbal fluency in Dutch and French are a competitive advantage
  • Technical knowledge & experience of aseptic and GMP regulated environments, having built and designed working cleanrooms and processes is highly recommended
  • Proven & successful experience of managing regulatory audits as leading person and being the contact person for auditor
  • Understanding and ability to design Quality Management Systems. Certifications are a plus
  • Strong project management and communication skills, certification is a plus
  • Familiar with technology, automation, artificial intelligence, process improvements and working out innovative solutions to problems.

  • Knowledge and understanding of PIC/S Pharmacy Products guidelines and/ or GMP including Annex 1
  • Proven experience in Pharmacy Clean Room Design, Aseptic Compounding, sterile manufacturing, operations, regulatory compliance, management, and manufacturing of unlicensed drugs for human use
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic consulting environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality standards
