GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Product Marketing Specialist will support to the Regional Product Portfolio Manager (PPM) in the Exam / Single-Use Strategic Business Unit. The position will work closely with the PPM to implement key initiatives that grow sales through improving customers’ experience, educating customers on company products, launching new products, and managing the life cycle of existing products.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or International Business
  • Project management training is a plus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management or Business Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in coordinating projects through completion
  • Fully proficient with Excel and Powerpoint

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in leading project cross-functional project teams
  • Experience in a global / multinational environment is a plus
  • Experience in a matrix organization is a plus
  • Experience with personal protective equipment (PPE) or medical devices is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sellers & Distributors – Respond to inquiries about products. Submit COMIND tickets to Scientific Affairs & Regulatory regarding customer questions, work with regional customer service on product allocation & inventory management, work with regional marcom on communications about product availability or changes. Assist with category reviews.
  • Analyze S&OP and SFDC / sales pipeline data – Monitor product allocation and inventory data, work with sales and supply chain to support product order requests, assist sales and finance in making decisions on how to price upside volume to maintain margins.
  • Update Regional Systems – Assist in administrative work associated with entering products into regional systems such as SFDC, asset bank and regional PIM, and update price lists across all single use & exam products for all countries / languages.
  • Support Regional Launches – Send samples for VOC, collect feedback from sellers and customers, work with NPD on volume forecasts and price recommendations. Assist with planning and preparation of slides for product trainings.
  • Support product transfers and product rationalization: collect feedback from the sales team, work with global and regional PPMs on forecasts and supply plan.
  • Monitor Regional Product & Price Trends – Work with regional sales to understand drivers of sales, study competitive products & pricing and provide recommendations to regional PPM on ways to optimize portfolio / pricing.
  • Support Regional Marketing - Assist with revising global customer communications to meet needs of EMEA customer base and coordinate with regional stakeholders to send communications. Provide monthly updates on sales and key initiatives to regional marketing team and support other marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare weekly reports on opportunities and conversions and monthly reports on product performance.
