Description:
The Associate Accountant at Rackspace Technology interprets Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) pronouncements. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Prepares general ledger account reconciliations and account balance fluctuation analysis. Prepares standard and specialized financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) according to GAAP. Assists in the preparation of external and internal reporting documents.
Work Location: Remote in CDMX.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- Requires 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP is required
