We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ‘ Associate, Accounting II’ to join our newly created Global Institutional Accounting team . This role is located in Wrocław, Poland - hybrid.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

Completes activities related to the accurate and timely delivery of services on behalf of assigned clients which includes but is not limited to determining NAV, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, or preparing supportive reports.
Responsible for the completion of in-depth data analysis of reconciliations and leading engagements across business areas. Identifies trends, provides complex root cause analysis and executes recommendations.
Serves as an escalation point for more junior members of the team. May be responsible for assigning the workload and monitoring timeliness and accuracy of its completion.
Regularly interacts with clients in answering questions and resolving issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
Conducts reviews and participates in technical testing and the implementation of accounting software.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (min. B2 level).
At least 3 years of relevant work experience (fund accounting, reconciliation, reporting, cash processing, etc.). Previous work experience in FA or Reconciliation is advantageous.
Strong understanding of the different securities available in the market – bonds, equities, derivatives – as well as various market events (e.g. corporate actions).
Experience of using Microsoft Office products, in particular manipulating Excel spreadsheets. Utilizing advanced functions would be desirable.
Analytical skills with a proven track record of working with comprehensive financial/numerical data. Experience working with large and complex databases and an ability to understand how they function/interact will be preferred.
Accounting/ Economics/ Finance / Math’s university degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
