We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Actuarial Services.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing assistance to the valuation, stress testing and other reporting requirements in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs
  • Supports the computing of reserves and capital requirements for solvency monitoring, solvency projections and business planning purposes
  • Perform ad-hoc valuation tasks assigned which may involve solvency, balance sheet and profit & loss management, bonus investigation, stress testing, etc
  • Responsible for maintaining local Model Governance standards as per HSBC guidelines
  • Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations

Requirements

  • University graduate in a relevant discipline in Actuarial Studies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
