JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a commercial Associate Director of Analytics interested in pushing our understanding and the performance of our game as a part of the Candy Crush Saga In-App Purchase & Economy area. You will get the opportunity to be part of a great team, working with an industry leading and genre defining game with over 200 million active players.
Your role within our Kingdom
As Associate Director of Analytics, you will have primary responsibility to deliver best-in-class analytical knowledge that helps set the direction and generate impact for the product team. You will be working with varied stakeholders in a fun, dynamic and fast-paced environment to generate insights, evaluate new ideas, and to take the analytics team to the next level. As a manager, you will ensure quality and consistency from across the team.
Specifically, you’ll:
- Delivers on objectives through the team, defining scope and people coordination for analytics roadmap within the area including cross functional dependencies
- Ensure the area strategy is supported and constructed from clear actionable insights
- Making sure that product or feature development is supported from an analytical performance perspective
- Taking ownership of experimentation cycles, from start to end in problem formulation to solution implementation.
- Participates and promotes craft (community) forums and initiatives
- Develops people within the craft and support cross-craft growth, building and maturing new leaders
- Partner with the right stakeholders to make sure the right resources are available and in place to deliver on the roadmap
- Lead a team of Analysts to deliver impactful insights that will guide the game team in their planning and execution
- Generate and drive innovative and complex analytical projects that unveils new opportunities in the game
- Work closely with other analytics and research teams to execute on cross-team initiatives spanning across product areas and game teams in the company
- Partner with product leaders to enable data and research backed decision making
- Develop and promote best practices and ways of working to balance timely deliveries with long term investments
- Enable a working environment that contributes to team members’ growth
- Build and grow your team to up level the analytical capabilities in the game team

- Communication: Designing good ways of communicating, visualizing or reporting your results/analysis so they are clear and unambiguous
- Trusted Professional: Show a track record of direct contributions and solid technical skills
